In an episode that was presumable recorded prior to his weekend reunion with Juliane Hough, ex-Brooks Laich had nothing but sweet memories of his wedding to the America's Got Talent alum.
In the Sunday (July 26) episode of his How Men Think Podcast, the former NHL player, 37, shared his thoughts on the 2017 ceremony when discussing the hardships that engaged couples have to endure in postponing their weddings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "I have friends that have had to postpone their wedding and my heart absolutely breaks for them, because reflecting on my wedding and how that was just the greatest time of my life, I just want everybody to have that experience," he explained to listeners. "That memory of your world, her world, both worlds colliding, the people you love the most in the world coming together to celebrate love."
Elsewhere in the interview, Laich said that postponing such an event truly hits hard. "I just want that for people and it breaks my heart to hear weddings being postponed and so my perspective would be yeah, from the guy’s standpoint it is as disappointing or saddening if the wedding has to be postponed," he continued.
It's the latest in the Laich/Hough saga after the two spent some time together at the former's 32nd birthday celebration. To commemorate another year, Hough hosted a small poolside birthday gathering with best friend Nina Dobrev, among others. As for the exes, they've been on friendly terms since announcing their separation in late May after nearly three years of marriage.
