Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Buy $40 Million Mansion On Star Island

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez bought a second home in Miami for $40 million. It's on the ultra luxurious and private Star Island.

The new home is massive. It has 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms spread over the two-story waterfront estate. Two of those bedrooms and bathrooms are part of the property's guest house. The den, dining room and the master bedroom have ceiling-to-floor windows to let in the Florida sunshine.

The property is on a 40,000 square-foot lot and has views of downtown Miami. Photos of the estate can still be seen on realtor.com.

According to the Daily Mail, Jill Eber, the Miami realtor who sold the property, said, "It epitomizes true indoor/outdoor living, offering the most sought-after mesmerizing views of the Miami skyline, as well as magnificent sunsets." Eber also called the home "the star of Star Island."

It's unknown if J.Lo and A-Rod will actually live on Star Island. The couple already owns a home in Coral Gables that was built for Rodriguez. It has also been the backdrop for their Instagram videos and slightly resembles the house in the movie "Parasite."

Lopez is no stranger to buying and selling expensive homes. She also owns multi-million dollar houses in Bel Air, Manhattan, and the Hamptons, reports Business Insider. They flipped a home in Malibu in 2019 and put the Manhattan property up for sale at the beginning of this year.
