Trey Songz has responded to the sexual assault claims made by Aliza, a friend of OnlyFans model Celina Powell.

In a number of Twitter posts, the singer, 35, said that he typically strays away from giving stories like this attention, but he felt compelled to speak up on the claims. "I usually stay quiet on this but I feel that in many ways the movement to fight for the women who actually have suffered harassment and abuse on various levels, has been hijacked by those who find it convenient for themselves to come up as they seek to destroy someone's life," Songz wrote, before he addressed the allegations, which reportedly took place in Miami, and shared screenshots of conversations.

"You will choose [to] believe what you want," he continued. "I've been focusing my energy and time on good things and I know the Devil wants my soul more now than ever. Ima keep my head high and push forward. If you holdin me down in these moments I preciate that."

If you missed out, Aliza was asked to speak on "one of the nastiest things" she's ever done and the incident fell on her claim that Songz urinated on her without consent. "I got peed on," she confessed. "I didn't know what was happening. He just did it. I'm like, what the f**k? On my eyelashes? And he's like, 'You're fine.'"

Elsewhere in the interview, Aliza claimed that Songz refused to let her leave and decided to withdraw her belongings. "He took my phone and my purse away for a whole day and held it over the balcony," she said, to which Powell reaffirmed. "[He] was like 'Bitch, if you try and leave, I'm going to drop this sh*t.’ He did the same thing to [Powell]. He just does the same sh*t. He's, like, weird."

Meanwhile, Powell has come forward to hold her stance on the matter, admitting that "he forced [her] to do [some things] and threw [her] phone off the balcony" on April 6, while simultaneously refusing to let her and another female leave his room. "I refuse to look like a liar in this situation. Y'all can say I'm lying about anything else but this. Sorry. What happened to me is 100 percent true,” she wrote on social media. In case you don’t remember, Keke Palmer previously accused Songz of sexual intimidation in 2017 after he put her in his "Pick Up the Phone" video without permission.
