Migos and YoungBoy Never Broke Again go hard on their new joint.
After weeks of teasing, the rappers finally dropped their long-awaited collaboration, “Need It,” from the Georgia trio’s forthcoming mixtape, Quarantine Tape. All four rappers — Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, and YoungBoy NBA — look ready for war in the flashy and fearless music video, which sees the lyricists dressed in white beaters and heavy diamond chains, daring anyone to test their gangster.
Scenes from the visual capture Offset reenacting Marlon Wayans’ classic scene from 1996’s Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood as well as a glammed up Saweetie getting close to her real-life man Quavo on a motorbike. Elsewhere, the rappers are seen bouncing and bragging in a flashy hydraulic lowrider, whereas others show the four of them using gun gestures to prove just how far they’ll go to protect themselves.
“I said I need it This Draco undefeated/ Hit your block and then I bleed it/ Go long, these bullets, he receive it/ I can't see it," the artists spit on the hook over the Buddah Bless production.
While “Need It” marks YoungBoy’s first collab with the Migos as a group, he’s previously worked with two of the members on past projects. Fans will recall when the 20-year-old artist and Moneybagg Yo tapped Quavo to hop on their 2017 banger, “Pleading the Fifth.” Offset also linked up with the Louisiana-born artist in 2018 for “RIP.”
