BLACKPINK's anticipated collaboration with Selena Gomez is dropping on Friday (August 28) and it appears Ariana Grande had a hand in writing the track, which is titled "Ice Cream."

It has been speculated that Grande took part in the creation of the star-studded collab, along with her go-to collaborators Victoria Monet and Tommy Brown, and the whispers turned out to be true. Just a few days ago, Brown shared some promotional artwork for the upcoming single and made the claim. "Produced and written by me and some of my awesome friends," he captioned the post, tagging Grande, Monet, and songwriter/producers Bekuh Boom and Mr. Franks in the post.

Grande caught wind of the post and shared it on her Instagram Story, writing, "proud of the squad, and so excited for this!!! so much love for this team and these ladies!!!!" She also tagged the K-Pop group, Gomez, Brown, Monet and Mr. Franks in the post.

"Ice Cream" marks BLACKPINK's second single after “How You like That" from their upcoming album, Blackpink: The Album. The LP is scheduled for release via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records on October 2. "It is because all members agreed that BLACKPINK's comeback as an entire group and their first-ever full-length album release is more important than anything," YG Entertainment said in a statement during the initial album announcement. "YG is always grateful towards the fans in and out of Korea, who have shown interest and affection towards BLACKPINK until this day."
