A woman in Akron, Ohio, got the shock of a lifetime while cooking dinner for her family on Monday.

Lamia Singfield was cooking smoked pig tails with beans when she discovered something that looked a little more human than animal. She thought she found a detached male penis in her dinner. The strange looking piece of meat came in a package of pork tails Singfield purchased from an area Save-A-Lot.

"As I was stirring my beans, I found something that looked very familiar," said Singfield on Facebook Live. "... Somebody is missing this."

Singfield livestreamed the whole ordeal. She started off in good spirits thinking it was a joke but grew more concerned after she took it out of her cooking pot to examine it. Thinking something suspicious happened, she decided to call the health department and then the police.

“I hope it’s not a human because then somebody is missing something that they need or somebody might be dead. I just want answers," Singfield said.

Akron police officers took away the mystery meat so that it could be tested by the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.

On Wednesday, the medical examiner determined that the meat was pork - and not in anyway human, the Akron Beacon Journal reported. The meat still had a bone in it and was likely a pork tail.

In a public statement, Save-A-Lot said that it never had complaints about the tails in the past but it was looking into it.

Singfield told the Akron newspaper that she now has an attorney handling the situation.
