California Family Charged $4400 For Their Water Bill!

A Garden Grove family opened their water bill to find that they owed $4400 to the water company! It's an obvious mistake but the water company says they are on the hook for the bill.

They called the water company to come out and look at the meter. The company said the meter is fine. They then called a leak detection company and that company says there wasn't a leak. Then the water company agreed to replace the meter and when they did, the bill went down to where it should be.

Here's the problem though. The water company says the Do family is still on the hook for the $4400 bill! So the fight continues and we sure hope the Do family has success in this battle and that the water company does the right thing.
