Niecy Nash Secretly Marries Singer Jessica Betts

Niecy Nash (real name Carol Denise Nash) is officially a Mrs. — Mrs. Carol Denise Betts. The actress got married to singer Jessica Betts in a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony.

On Instagram, Niecy shared a photo from the beautiful nuptials right after the couple said "I do." The Claws star wore a beautiful trumpet style wedding gown while her wife Jessica rocked a cream-color vest and matching pants with a tie, and both were all smiles. Along with the picture, she wrote "Mrs. Carol Denise Betts #LoveWins."

And on her Instagram, Jessica shared the same photo and wrote, "I got a whole Wife @niecynash1 #Bettsofbothworlds #LoveWins."

Meanwhile on her Instagram stories, Niecy shared Jessica's romantic song "Catch Me" and tagging her now wife, she wrote "Mine" with a heart emoji. She also shared another photo of herself and Bett writing along with it, "#PlotTwist" with a rainbow emoji.

The wedding came as surprise to fans, many of which did not know Niecy was out and engaged to a woman, until now. She's always been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.

Niecy was previously married to Jay Tucker for nine years, and the now former couple divorced this year. The actress was also married to Don Nash with whom she shares three children with.

Jessica Betts is a singer/songwriter originally from Chicago, and won Missy Elliott's Road to Stardom in 2005. She eventually went on to be inducted as a BET Music Matters artist.

Although it's not clear exactly how long Niecy and Jessica's relationship goes back, according to the Daily Mail, Betts reportedly sang at Nash's 2011 Malibu wedding to Jay Tucker.
