As fans guessed, YUNGBLUD is teaming up with Bring Me The Horizon for the collab we've all been dying to hear and we finally got our first teaser photo.
Over the weekend, Dom shared a half-naked and bloodied photo of himself with BMTH frontman Oli Sykes captioning the snap, “u ain’t ready.” The band also shared a close-up photo of YUNGBLUD and Oli's faces with the caption, “YOU MONSTERS ARE PEOPLE.”
Previously, Sykes shared a clip of the music video after fans were directed to a cryptic site via a QR code but this is the first time the artists have officially posed together to tease the song.
Earlier this summer, the first glimpse of a possible collaboration happened on Twitter when YUNGBLUD tweeted Bring Me The Horizon's Jordan Fish and Oli Sykes asking: “yo @olobersyko @JordanFish86 ... check ur inbox.”
Judging from the blood and the teaser clip both artists posted, the song they seem to be teasing is “Obey.” The track will be featured on BMTH's upcoming release Post Human which will consist of four separate records and share the Post Human name.
“The idea behind ‘Post Human’ is looking at how we’ve stepped out of evolution and the food chain. If we can do that, then we can take responsibility for what we’ve done to the planet and become something better than what humans are right now,” Sykes told NME.
Fans, of course, are more than excited to finally hear the collab since it's been teased for months. “IM HYPERVENTILATING RN,” one fan commented while another wrote, “IM DYING OF EXCITEMENT!”
As of right now there is no release date to this upcoming track but fans are guessing it'll be dropping in the next few days so PREPARE YOURSELVES!
