Collin Gosselin Says He’s 'Doing Better Than Ever' Living With Dad Jon

Collin Gosselin took to Instagram on Sunday (September 6) to give his followers an update. In addition to showing off a new haircut, the 16-year-old former reality TV star shared some positive words about his life with dad Jon Gosselin.

“Got a new cut and I’m doing better than ever," Collin captioned his selfie. “Life is too great to not enjoy! #livelikeitsyourlastday.”

Collin has been living with his dad full time, along with sextuplet sister Hannah Gosselin, for the past few years. Before living with his father, Collin was in his mother Kate Gosselin's custody and attended Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute. Jon removed Collin from the school after a letter reportedly written by his son was obtained and published by Daily MailTV. “I told Mom I want to live with you, she said no. But right? She can’t choose for me. I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son, not hers. She was abusive to me after I left your house. I’m sorry. Take this to court because … you’re my dad, my savior,” the letter read. “I’m counting on you to get me out of here. Daddy, I love you. Save me. Please come FAST. I love you. Help me. BYE.”

In December 2018, Jon was awarded sole legal and physical custody of Collin after Kate and her lawyer did not show up in court. Kate has full legal custody and shared physical custody of the rest of their sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, and twins Cara and Mady.

According to Jon, Collin is currently estranged from his siblings and his mother. Back in May, Collin paid tribute to his father's girlfriend Colleen Conrad on Mother's Day instead of Kate. The teen called Colleen his "mother figure" and his "guiding light."
