The coronavirus pandemic has caused many cancellations and taken the fun out of a lot of things that we used to look forward to. However, it has also allowed us to get creative and experience things in new ways.
The San Antonio Zoo is kicking off the Drive-Thru Zoo Boo on September 18th and will run through October 30th.
This event allows visitors to trick-or-treat safely from your own car while also seeing all the animals. Allowing visitors to stay inside their vehicles ensures that everyone is practicing social distancing.
This drive-thru event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:
- September 18
- September 25
- October 2
- October 9
- October 16
- October 23
- October 30
Vehicle sizes for the event are limited to 224" long x 81" wide x 74" high, or about the size of a large SUV.
Tickets for the event are $65 per vehicle for non-annual pass holders and $32 per vehicle for pass holders.
There will be a walk-through Zoo Boo as well which will begin on September 19th and run through October 31st and will feature fun activities like dance parties, pumpkin painting, a hay maze, and a costume contest.
