NBA YoungBoy's new project TOP has officially arrived, just one day after the rapper shared the album's track list.
TOP follows NBA Youngboy's previous 2020 mixtape 28 Baby 2, and showcases 21 songs including features from Lil Wayne ("My Window") and Snoop Dogg ("Callin"). The project also includes previously-released songs like "Kacey Talk" (which features short audio clips from his son Kacey), and "House Arrest Tingz."
The Baton Rouge rapper only announced his new album last month, and shared the official trick list the day before TOP's release. On Twitter, he teased fans while putting the album together, sharing, "want to switch the tracklist to 21 is that too many?"
Despite there being a worldwide pandemic, NBA YoungBoy has been busy releasing new music left and right. Earlier in the year, the rapper dropped two mixtapes, Still Flexin, Still Steppin and 38 Baby 2. In fact, after releasing the latter mixtape, the 20-year-old alluded to a brief hiatus from releasing music. He tweeted prior to releasing 38 Baby 2, "After Friday I’ll never release a song/album again until I’m in a better situation #PROMISE."
Looks like he found himself in a better situation, because several months later, and fans have a whole new album. But, TOP isn't the only thing NBA YoungBoy has been working on either. In early August, he teased a collaboration with Nicki Minaj when he posted some now-deleted photos, featuring him, Nicki and Mike WiLL Made-It that looked like they were at a music video shoot.
