Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles has joined the judges panel of a new competition show called the Go-Big Show. The country singer turned to Instagram on Thursday (September 10) to share the news with fans alongside a promo video of the show, which will air on networks such as TBS, TNT and TruTV.
"Big News!!!! Big news!!!! IT’S GO TIME! Get ready for the biggest, most extreme talent show ever," she wrote in the caption. "I can’t wait!!!"
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the country singer will appear alongside fellow judges including rapper Snoop Dogg, actor and activist Rosario Dawson and professional wrestler Cody Rhodes. Comedian Bert Kreischer is set to host the show, which will feature talented acts like alligator trainers, monster truck driver and stunt archers all competing to win a $100,000 prize.
"Go-Big Show celebrates unique, untraditional and unforgettable American talent," Corie Henson, executive vice president and head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and TruTV said. "Each contestant brings tremendous heart and swagger, which also perfectly describes Bert and our judges, a dream team of larger-than-life talent."
Go-Big Show has started production for its 10 episodes at the Macon Coliseum in Nettles' home state of Georgia. Everyone involved in the process has followed all necessary COVID-19 protocols, and are isolating together in accordance with local social distancing regulations. The arena's seats will remain empty during filming, but the show will feature a drive-in audience outside.
Nettles was previously a judge on the ABC singing competition show Duets alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Robin Thicke. She's also taken a shot at acting in recent years. Nettles played the character of Aimee-Lee Gemstone on the HBO show The Righteous Gemstones, and was also casted in Harriet.
