The 2020 Calle Ocho Music Festival is back, and it's going virtual.
The annual festival returns this Sunday (October 4) as a live virtual event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. This will be the first time the festival will be completely virtual.
COMF was originally canceled by Miami city officials back in March due to the coronavirus outbreak along with other popular events.
The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, who organized the festival, said artists like Gloria Estefan, Camilo, Jessi Uribe, Jorge Celedón, Jerry Di, Leslie Shaw, and Bobby Pulido will be part of the roster.
“These artists join previously announced Calle Ocho Live kings Mau y Ricky, Ivy Queen, who is performing an epic virtual duet with the late Celia Cruz, and Tito Puente, Jr., who himself is performing a virtual duet with his late all-star father Tito Puente," organizers said.
The event also benefits the Little Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation, which serves underserved families via youth development programs, college scholarships, emergency financial assistance and more.
You can tune in on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter at 3:00 p.m. EST. You can check out more details and the full line-up on their website.
