Dolly Parton Wants To Pose For Playboy To Celebrate Her 75th Birthday

Dolly Parton might ring in her 75th birthday with another Playboy photo shoot.

In an interview with the Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show on Saturday (October 3), Parton hinted that she wants to pose for the outlet in January for her milestone birthday, after first appearing on the cover in 1978.

When asked if it's true that she'll pose again for Playboy, Parton replied, "Well, there's some truth in that."

"I just might do it. If I can do it in good taste and they [Playboy] want it, we'll do it along with a really good interview inside," Parton revealed. "So, yeah, it's possible. Yep, we've talked about it."

Earlier this year in March, the "9 to 5" singer talked about wanting to recreate her old Playboy cover on an episode of 60 Minutes Australia.

"I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again," she said at the time. "See, I did Playboy magazine years ago and I thought it’d be such a hoot if they'll go for it — I don't know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."

The "Jolene" singer first appeared on the cover of Hugh Hefner's men's magazine when she was 32-years-old. The cover featured Parton wearing the signature Playboy bunny costume including ears, bow-tie, and cuffs.

When asked if she would wear her original outfit from her 1978 photo shoot, Parton said it's a possibility.

"I could probably use it, maybe. Boobs are still the same!" she said. "I'm kind of cartoonish and cartoons don't really age that much. When I'm 90, I'll probably look about the same way. Just thicker makeup, bigger hair."
