4 Arizona Cities Make 'Top 100 Best Places To Live' List

Aside from the great weather, Arizona has many stunning features that make the state a great place to live. Beautiful landscapes, endless amounts of activities, and a strong economy push Arizona to the top of many people's lists when choosing a great city to settle down in.
Livability released a list of the top 100 best places to live for 2020 and four Arizona cities made the list.
Chandler
Chandler, known as the "community of innovation", came in the highest spot of all of the Arizona cities at number 22. The city has a revitalized downtown district as well as tons of public art, great schools, and thriving manufacturing industries. According to the City of Chandler Public Information Officer Stephanie Romero, Chandler's energy is "a fantastic mix of young and middle-aged professionals and families within a suburban area with an urban and thriving downtown."
Tempe
Tempe came in at number 26 on the list. This city is a college town, giving it a youthful, yet laid-back energy. Ralph Remington, Tempe Center for the Arts TCA Producing Artistic Director, stated, "Tempe has amazing cultural amenities, a lake, sports of your choosing, a vibrant eclectic progressive community and over 300 days of sunshine a year."
Tucson
Tucson is a beautiful city with the Catalina Mountains providing a breath-taking backdrop. The city has many perks including affordable housing and a diverse economy. Dre Thompson, executive vice president of Startup Tucson, stated, "Tucson is incredibly welcoming and supportive of new talent-if you are passionate about making a difference, invitations to join thought leaders on boards, panels and task forces comes easily."
Flagstaff
Flagstaff has thriving renewable energy, medical devices, and bioscience industries. This city has natural beauty, mild weather, and tons of arts and entertainment options. Heidi Hansen, City of Flagstaff economic vitality director, stated, "People should relocate to Flagstaff because we offer opportunity, activity, and resources that you can't get in other cities."
