Meghan Trainor Is Pregnant! Expecting First Child With Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor is pregnant! The “All About That Bass” singer announced the exciting news via social media on Wednesday, October 7, revealing she’s expecting her first child with husband Daryl Sabara.

“You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!!😭 @darylsabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year! WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!! 🎁😍” she shared on social media, alongside a photo of a sonogram resting adorably in a decorated Christmas tree.

The songstress also shared the exciting news during an appearance on the Today show.

"I'm very good as you can tell — it's all Christmas here," the mom-to-be teased, adding, "But there's other news that I'm dying to tell you and my heart's pounding out of my chest."

"We're pregnant!" she declared. "We're so excited we couldn't sleep. We've been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I've told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, 'I will have the most babies in the world.’”

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest in March 2018, Meghan also shared she couldn't wait to become a mom and has always wanted twins.

“I yelled this morning ‘I want a baby!’” she admitted, recalling a moment with her hubby. “But I’ve got to wait and work first. … I want twins! [Daryl] is a twin. I’m screwed [though], there’s no twins in my family. I’ll just ask a doctor ‘What’s the science these days? Give me two.’”

The couple got engaged in December 2017 and married in December 2018. Congrats!
