Here's The Most Searched For Halloween Costume In Nashville

Halloween will be different this year.

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, holiday participants will have to celebrate by following social distancing protocols. Still, many are planning to participate in holiday festivities, whether in person or via Zoom.

Nashville is no exception. While Lower Broadway and downtown may not be as crowded as past years, there will still be plenty of Tennesseans dressing up in 2020.

Google has put together a list of the most popular Halloween costumes based on searches in different areas, which includes a breakdown of the most popular costumes in states and cities.

So what's the most searched costume in Nashville?

Harley Quinn.

The DC Universe supervillain is not only the most popular costume search in Nashville, but was also the third most searched costume nationally.

Harley Quinn was also extremely popular in other major cities, with its top five most frequent searches coming from: New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, Detroit and Houston. According to Google, comic book characters make up 9% of all costume searches nationally.

Nashville's other top five most frequent searches are far more tame by comparison. Here are the top five most frequently searched costumes in Music City:

  2. Rabbit
  3. Star Wars
  4. Cleopartra
  5. Tiger

  • Jackson- Iron Man
