Harry Styles is back with a new music video.
On Monday (October 26), the crooner officially unveiled the highly-anticipated visual for his latest single “Golden.” Styles’ newest release is a bubbly, uplifting feel-good tune that embraces all the ups and downs of having fun and living in the moment.
The video is also a reflection of its free-spirited vibe, as Styles sings and runs freely down the road in a coastal town wearing a half-unbuttoned white shirt. Another scene captures the crooner looking dapper in a light blue suit while doing some sightseeing whereas others show him baring his shirtless torso while swimming in the ocean and running up forest hill.
“Golden, golden, golden as I open my eyes/ Hold it, focus, hoping, take me back to the light/ I know you were way too bright for me/ I'm hopeless, broken, so you wait for me/ in the sky/ Brown my skin just right/ You're so golden,” Styles sings on the bright, fast-tempo track.
“Golden” is the fifth single from the 26-year-old’s number-one sophomore album, Fine Line, and the fourth music video he’s unveiled from the LP. Among his previously-released singles include “Watermelon Sugar,” “Fallin’,” “Adore You,” and “Lights Up.”
For months, it was speculated that Styles would deliver a new Fine Line video, as he was previously spotted out in Italy shooting various scenes for a then-unannounced project. It wasn’t until “Golden” became a trending topic on Twitter on Sunday (October 25) that a verified Harry Styles news account unveiled the official music video teaser for the song.
