The Metro Public Health Department is reported investigating a large Halloween party that took place in East Nashville last Saturday (October 31).
The department reportedly didn't receive an event application, which is necessary for gatherings exceeding 25 people to be excluded from Phase 3 limitations amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and therefore will "take appropriate action regarding any potential citations, official Brian Todd confirmed to FOX 17 News.
Todd also confirmed the Metro Nashville Police Department didn't issue citations when officers broke up the party on Saturday.
FOX 17 News was at the scene when MNPD officers arrived at the Boscobel Street home at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Monday, Mayor John Cooper announced the city of Nashville would be extending Phase 3 of its reopening plan after the Metro Health Department issued the Amended and Restated Public Health Orders 10 and 12, FOX 17 News reports.
Under Phase 3, gatherings of 25 people or more are prohibited without an application sent to and approved by the Metro Health Department.
Additionally, a mask mandate remains in effect and retail stores are limited to 75% capacity with employees undergoing health screenings daily. Restaurants and bars can remain open to the public by limiting service to 100 patrons per floor and 100 individuals outdoors.
Restaurants are limited to a maximum of eight individuals per table and are mandated to close by 11:00 p.m.
