Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and more will participate in Gucci’s upcoming fashion and film event.
The fashion brand will host its six-day digital GucciFest from November 16 - 22, with highly-anticipated appearances by the “Golden” crooner and the “Bad Guy” songbird as well as London-born singer-songwriter Arlo Parks and Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine.
The virtual “fashion and film festival” also features a series of short films to celebrate the work of 15 young indie designers: Ahluwalia, Shanel Campbell, Mowalola, Yueqi Qi, Rave Review, Gui Rosa, Stefan Cooke, Cormio, Charles De Vilmorin, JordanLuca, Rui, Bianca Saunders, Collina Strada, Boramy Viguier, and Gareth Wrighton.
GucciFest also incorporates a seven-part visual showcase of Gucci creative director Alessandra Michele’s newest collection for the brand, entitled Ouverture of Something That Never Ended. Co-directed by filmmaker Gus Van Sant, the movie will star artist-performer Silvia Calderoni in a “surreal daily routine in the city,” during which she encounters Eilish, Styles, Parks, and Welch along the way.
GucciFest will broadcast via a specially-launched website as well as the fashion brand’s YouTube channel.
