Miley Cyrus has recruited Joan Jett, Billy Idol and Dua Lipa for her new rock-infused album.
The “Slide Away” singer took to Instagram on Friday (November 13) to share the 12-song tracklist for her upcoming seventh studio album, Plastic Hearts. This new LP, which Cyrus previously described as “super rock and roll,” will see the pop star clash with the iconic Joan Jett & the Blackhearts frontwoman on the song “Bad Karma” and English punk rock legend Idol on “Night Crawling.”
Lipa also appears on the project as Cyrus’ costar on their long-awaited collaboration, titled “Prisoner.” Fans can also expect to hear the songbird team up with Stevie Nicks on a new remix of “Midnight Sky” — listen here.
Plastic Hearts comes over a year after the former Disney star released 2019’s EP, She Is Coming, and three years after dropping her 2017 full-length, Younger Now.
Cyrus officially announced her new album in a passionate message shared in late-October.
“If you’re reading this… know that I f–king love and appreciate you on the deepest level,” the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram at the time. “I began this album over 2 years ago. Thought I had it all figured out. Not just the record with its songs and sounds but my whole f–king life. But no one checks an ego like life itself. Just when I thought the body of work was finished… it was ALL erased. Including most of the musics relevance. Because EVERYTHING had changed.”
