Though things look a lot different this year amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, some holiday traditions, such as viewing twinkling Christmas lights, will live on.
An immersive drive-thru holiday lights show called "Radiance! A Holiday Light Spectacular" will pop up in three locations across North Texas including Frisco, Decatur, and Weatherford.
There will be a different display at each location, with each containing more than a million Christmas lights alone a mile-long path and a 160-foot tunnel of lights.
Warren Michael Lyng helped bring the lights show to North Texas, and he says that guests will stay in their own vehicles to go through the displays.
Lyng said, "You are handed a hot chocolate as you drive in and can take as many pictures as you want. You experience the Christmas joy while the music is playing over the radio where the lights are animated to the music and you get to experience Christmas, not just once, but in three locations in North Texas."
Tickets are $30 per vehicle. Each display will take about 30 minutes to drive through.
The shows begin at 5:30 each night.
The displays are located at:
- Radiance! Frisco will be at Dr. Pepper Ballpark located at 7300 Roughriders Trail in Frisco
- Radiance! at the Ranch will be at Parker County Sheriff's Posse located at 2251 Mineral Wells Highway in Weatherford
- Radiance! Decatur will be at Reunion Grounds at Joe Wheeler Park located at 3101 FM 51 in Decatur
