Lil Wayne and DaBaby will be among several big names performing at the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view boxing event this week.
The event will feature multi-song performances by both artists, as well as French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and YG, according to a press release from Triller, which will sponsor the event airing live on pay-per-view and streaming on TysonOnTriler.com for $49.99 on Saturday, November 28.
"The connection between boxing and music is undeniable. As a global language, music unites cultures, and we knew this historical moment needed to include some of the biggest names in the industry. Unparalleled to any other entertainment platform in the space, Triller is determined to give fans a night they will never forget," said Bobby Sarnevesht, Executive Chairman of Triller.
The Tyson-Jones bout will headline a four-hour live event and be the first boxing event in a series of live sporting events produced under Tyson's 'Legends Only League.' The broadcast will begin at 8:00 p.m. EST.
Tyson, 54, (50-6-2, 44 KO) has not appeared in a boxing match since a June 11, 2005 loss to Kevin McBride. However, the polarizing former undisputed heavyweight champion went looked impressive in viral videos showing off his training regimen and new physique in the lead up to the upcoming fight.
Jones, 51, (66-9, 47 KO) defeated Scott Sigmon during his last boxing match in February 2018 and is coming off four consecutive victories since March 2016. The Pensacola native held multiple world championships in four weight classes: middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight; and is the only boxer to begin as a light middleweight and win a heavyweight title.
Saturday's exhibition will not count toward either boxer's record and knockouts are prohibited.
