Saweetie Breaks Silence On Quavo Cheating Rumors

Saweetie has shut down the rumors that Quavo cheated on her with Reginae Carter.

After Quavo denied the fuss on his own, the rapper, 26, took to Twitter on Saturday (November 21) to slam the online gossip. "Quit spreading that fake news before y’all get Quavo a** in trouble cuz I don’t play that sh*t," she wrote. The two have been dating for almost three years.

Word of Quavo cheating first surfaced during Gucci Mane and Jeezy's "Verzuz" battle. Comedian Gerald Huston asked Quavo in the Instagram Live comments, "U still f**king colormenae?" The Migos rapper hit back in a since-deleted tweet, writing, "Internet Crazy Man. Not Weezy Daughter No!"

Saweetie previously opened up about their romance in an interview with ET. "In the beginning, there was a lot of false narratives that kind of surrounded our love," she said of the whispers that they’re together simply for publicity. "I think, because we're not so transparent and we don't share everything, it's easy for people to put a narrative or a story behind something. And then other people run with it because they don't understand. And when they don't understand, you try to make yourself understand, and that's when all these rumors started circulating."

In related news, Saweetie recently dropped the video for her new collaboration with Jhené Aiko, "Back to the Streets." The Timbaland-produced single is set to appear on her upcoming album, Pretty Bitch Music, which is scheduled for release in 2021.
