Rachel Lindsay Says Everyone Thinks She's Divorcing Bryan Abasolo

Back in 2017, Rachel Lindsay found love with Bryan Abasolo on season 13 of The Bachelorette. Though the pair married in 2019, Lindsay and Abasolo are living on opposite coasts. Lindsay is currently living in Los Angeles, while her husband resides in Miami full time.

“Everyone thinks we’re getting a divorce,” Lindsay joked during an appearance on the Whine Down With Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin podcast. The former Bachelorette doesn't mind the long-distance, though. She even told Kramer and Cuassin that living on opposite coasts was easier than spending quarantine with her husband.

“For six months I was in Miami, we were together every single day, we got into this routine,” Lindsay explained. “He did his thing, I did my thing and at the end of the day we would come back together.”

“We were so together in quarantine. If we didn't have quarantine and we were doing this, I would have been fine,” she continued. After returning to Los Angeles, however, Lindsay said she missed "the little things, like waking up next to each other" and "having a meal for him when he came home."

Since she returned to her coast, she and Abasolo didn’t spend Thanksgiving together. The pair do plan to spend Christmas together. “Bryan and I knew we were going to spend it together no matter what,” she said. “I am so excited.”

Earlier this year, Lindsay reassured Us Weekly—and anybody who may be concerned about her bi-coastal marriage—she and her husband “have a timeline for ourselves” and that they both "know where we’re going, we know where we’re headed, and we know what we’re trying to build as Abasolos.”
