3 Dallas Community Colleges Among 'Best Community Colleges In Texas'

College isn't for everyone, but for some people it is the stepping stone to a new, life-long career.
Three community colleges in Dallas were named among the best community colleges in Texas.
The study was conducted by Niche, a company that gathers and analyzes data, reviews, and surveys to come up with rankings.
Dallas College- Richland Campus was number 16 on the list.
Dallas College- Mountain View Campus was number 26, and Dallas college- El Centro Campus was number 27.
To determine the list, Niche used statistics such as academics, value, professors, and diversity. Academics accounted for 40% of the overall score, and value accounted for 27.5%. These categories included factors such as acceptance rate, quality of surveys, loan amounts, alumni earnings, and student surveys.
According to the list, here are the top 30 community colleges in Texas:

- Northwest Vista College in San Antonio
- Amarillo College in Amarillo
- Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont
- McLennan Community College in Waco
- Palo Alto College in San Antonio
- Dallas College-Brookhaven Campus in Farmers Branch
- Alvin Community College in Alvin
- Lone Star College Montgomery in The woodlands
- Collin College in McKinney
- El Paso Community College in El Paso
- Galveston College in Galveston
- Panola College in Carthage
- Victoria College in Victoria
- Lee College in Baytown
- Dallas College- Richland Campus in Dallas
- South Plains College in Levelland
- Wharton County Junior College in Wharton
- Clarendon College in Clarendon
- St. Philip's College in San Antonio
- Del Mar College in Corpus Christi
