Tattoos are permanent — unless you want to go through the process to have them burned off like Pete Davidson.
In a recent King of Staten Island Q&A, film critic Mike McGranaghan spilled the news about the Saturday Night Live star, 27. “Just attended a virtual Q&A with the Judd Apatow and the cast of THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND. And here's a scoop: Pete Davidson is in the process of getting all his tattoos removed!," he tweeted.
Asked by a user why the comedian is removing his ink, McGranaghan explained it comes down to his responsibilities to work on different film projects. "No, it’s real. He even showed his hand, which is already done. He said it takes 3-4 hours in the makeup chair to cover them, so he figured 'it would be easier to get them burned off,'" the critic elaborated.
Davidson is no stranger to removing tattoos. Back in 2018, it was reported that the star covered up a tattoo of his ex Cazzie David while he was in his relationship with Ariana Grande. Tattoo artist Jon Mesa came forward to reveal he worked on the massive forearm cover-up, which saw a forest of trees cover a cartoon version of David's face. "So I did a huge coverup [adding a forest of trees] . . . After we were done, I told Pete, 'Hey, dude, let’s just stop with the girlfriend tats until after [Grande’s] your wife,'" Mesa told Page Six. "Because relationships come and go, and Pete is a really young man. [But] I think that went in one ear and out the other."
