Golf fans can attend the 2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open but there's fewer tickets for a higher price.
General admission daily tickets are now on sale for $100 for Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday; and $125 for Friday or Saturday. Tickets can be purchased through the Phoenix Open website and are limited to 10 tickets per transaction.
Ticket prices more than doubled since last year when admission was $45 to $65 per person.
Tournament organizers did not say how many people will be allowed at the WMPO per day.
“We don’t have an exact attendance figure at this time but we will be conservative in all of our decision-making to ensure the health and safety of all involved with the event and our community," tournament chairman Scott Jenkins said in a statement.
"Given the fact our venue is a 192-acre, open-aired facility that will allow for safe social distancing measures, combined with COVID safety protocols including the wearing of masks on-site, we are confident we will conduct a safe and responsible event in February."
Golf fans can also purchase daily tickets for the 16th Hole that start at $550 per person. The tournament is ditching the suites in favor of an open-air floor plan for the 16th Hole.
“The floor plan this year is going to be more spread out. People are going to be put in four different zones. We want people enjoying themselves but it’s not going to be your typical crazy Phoenix Open vibe," Jenkins told Golfweek.
