Larry King has been hospitalized with coronavirus, according to a close family source.

The veteran talk show host, 87, who has previously survived cancer and a near-fatal stroke, is reportedly more than a week into his battle with the novel disease.

It’s been reported that the radio icon has remained in isolation as he is being treated for COVID-19 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where doctors have been monitoring King's condition for over 10 days now, according to the celebrity news website Showbiz411, the first outlet to break the story following New Year’s.

"Larry has fought so many health issues in the last few years and he is fighting this one hard too, he's a champ," the King family source told ABC News.

PEOPLE also adds in their report that, due to hospital protocols, King’s ex-wife Shawn King and his sons Cannon and Chance have been unable to visit him at this time.

As aforementioned, King has battled and overcome myriad health problems over the years.

He’s previously survived a heart attack in 1987; outlived prostate and lung cancer; endured quintuple bypass surgery; underwent an operation to remove a cancerous tumor in 2017; and in 2019, he experienced a life-threatening stroke weeks after undergoing heart surgery.
