Hayley Williams Continues To Reassure Fans Paramore Isn't Breaking Up

It seems like ever since Hayley Williams released her solo debut album, Petals For Armor, people have been convinced she'll announce Paramore's breakup at any given moment.

Despite telling fans many times the band has no desire to split, some still can't help but feel anxious since Paramore hasn't released new music since 2017. Given Paramore's turbulent history and band drama, there will always be a looming thought that'd they'll throw in the towel — but that's not happening any time soon.

At the start of the new year, Williams gave us good news and reassured us that Paramore is not disbanding despite what anyone continues to think.

After tweeting a lengthy note that wasn't about the band, one fan panicked and replied, “Omg I thought paramore was breaking up.” This resulted in the “Cinnamon” singer replying to the fan where she wrote, “lol y'all been worried about that too long. aint happening.”

Back in May, when talking about her new album, the frontwoman hinted at writing new Paramore music when she discussed how her solo work has influenced the band's writing. She also acknowledged that there's a history of lead singers leaving bands and never looking back and that won't be the case for Paramore. 

“I have to trust that the band knows I’m not looking for greener grass,” she explained at the time.

Around the same time, she told NME that the band members have been listening to music they grew up with to inspire the next Paramore record.

So have no fear, Paramore is here to stay we just have to be patient!
