Cinemark movie theaters will be reopening nine Colorado locations on Friday, January 8 after closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The reopenings will be in theaters across Aurora, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Greeley, Fort Collins, Lakewood, and Pueblo.
Cash payment options will be limited. The theater wants to prioritize contactless payment methods and encourages guests to purchase tickets online.
Each theater will follow local public health guidelines, according to CBS4. Face masks will be mandatory at all times inside the theater.
Theaters will have limited capacities and showtimes will be staggered to allow crews to disinfect seats with pressurized sprayers between showings. Public spaces that are touched often will be sanitized every 30 minutes.
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available for customers to use.
As for staff, employees will be required to wear face masks and gloves. A wellness check-in must be completed before every shift.
The company also says they have improved the fresh-air rate in their building's HVAC systems.
Showtimes on Friday are already available for advance ticket purchases.
