Florida Georgia Line Takes A Ride In Their 'New Truck'

Florida Georgia Line is giving fans another glimpse at their upcoming album, Life Rolls On, with the release of a new song on Friday (January 8) titled "New Truck."

The upbeat song, written by FGL's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley alongside Corey Crowder, Jeff Gitelman, Raysean Hairston, Blake Redferrin, and Priscilla Renea, finds the duo celebrating a new ride.

"I got a new truck / I got a new ride / I got it suped up / I like it too high / I got a new truck / I got a new ride / Shawty wanna ride shotty when I roll by / I got a new truck," they sing in the chorus.

"With 'New Truck' we were like, 'Man, this feels good. I just want to ride around in my truck, listen to this, and have a song to jam to,'" Hubbard said a statement. "When any of our buddies get a new truck now, we can send it to them and say, 'Yo, bump this in the truck!'"

Kelley added, "It feels really different and fresh. It’s got a fun innocence about it too."

The duo's forthcoming fifth studio album, due out on February 12, will feature "New Truck" along with several other previously released tracks including "Long Live," "Countryside," "I Love My Country," "Ain't Worried Bout It," "Beer:30," Second Guessing," and "U.S. Stronger."
