TLC's popular show Outdaughtered follows parents Danielle and Adam Busby as they raise their six daughters—five of which are a set of quintuplets. The reality show family is used to sharing their lives with both the viewers of Outdaughtered and their Instagram followers. They've continued to do that in recent weeks as Danielle battles a mystery illness.
Danielle's first health scare occurred back in November. Since then, she's been trying to figure out exactly what's wrong. On Thursday (January 7), the reality star gave her fans an update about her journey so far. “I have been seeing multiple doctors to try [and] help figure out what’s going on with me. I was led to the care of a cardiologist and rheumatologist, who have both been amazing,” Danielle shared on her Instagram Story. "Lots of tests have been done for both doctors … some results have come back OK, and some … not so much."
The mom of six also shared a lengthy update to her grid. "I went into my procedure on Monday pretty certain that I would be coming out with having to have surgery, but my prayer was answered and NO surgery is needed. I am thanking YOU ALL for the extra prayers because I believe in the POWER of PRAYER and I am certain these prayers helped my outcome," she wrote.
"Though this was a result I was praying for (no surgery), this doesn’t mean this is the end to my current struggles. More tests, lead to more doctors... but still no clear answer at the moment of what’s going on," Danielle continued. "Please understand, I am in the window of uncertainty and I only feel comfortable sharing as much as this. I will continue to share as more things start to unfold. Thank you for the continued prayers."
Her husband, Adam, shared an update on his own Instagram account, as well, telling his followers that Danielle was undergoing her "most invasive test so far." He also called upon his followers to offer up their thoughts and prayers as Danielle continues to search for a diagnosis.
