Blue Ivy gets her dancing skills from her mama!
On Sunday (January 10), the nine-year-old's grandmother, Tina Lawson, shared a video of Beyonce and Jay-Z's eldest daughter getting down on the dance floor.
"[This] is Blue but I swear it looks like Solange dancing at this age ❤️," Miss Tina captioned the cute video.
Blue has never shied away from showing off her moves. Back in May, Manuel Mendez, the rising star's stylist (yes, the nine-year-old has a stylist), shared a clip of Blue dancing to her mom's hit single "Mood 4 Eva" from the 2019 soundtrack,The Lion King: The Gift.In the video, which originally appeared in Beyoncé's 2019 "Making the Gift" documentary, Blue is shown effortlessly dancing to the track while wearing a peach romper.
As fans know, Blue isn't only an all-star dancer. Last month, the nine-year-old became a Grammy-nominated artist for her role in the song "Brown Skin Girl" alongside her mother and WizKid.The nomination came months after Blue won her first BET Award for the empowering track.
Most recently, Bey's mini-me added another accomplishment to her already impressive résumé: audiobook narrator. In November, writer Matthew A. Cherry tweeted a link and sample of the audiobook adaption of his animated short,Hair Love —which won at last year’s Oscars — featuring narration by none other than Miss Blue Ivy.
“Dreamscape Presents Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry,” Blue's heard reading in the snippet. “Narrated by Blue Ivy Carter.”
