And just like that… Sex and the City is being rebooted at HBO Max!

According to Variety, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis will reprise their roles on a new chapter of the beloved series, titled “And Just Like That…” Original cast member Kim Cattrall, who portrayed Samantha Jones on the show, will not be returning for the revival.

After so much speculation, all three ladies officially announced the show’s return with a short teaser clip introducing its next chapter. In the seconds-long clip, Parker narrates while typing out the phrases, “And just like that…” and “The story continues…”

“I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now?” Parker captioned the teaser post on Instagram.

The Sex and the City revival — co-executive produced by Parker, Nixon, Davis, and Michael Patrick King — will consist of 10 half-hour episodes that follow Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Charlotte York (Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Nixon) as they navigate love and friendship in their 50s. Production for the series will begin in NYC in late spring.

“I grew up with these characters, and I can’t wait to see how their story has evolved in this new chapter, with the honesty, poignancy, humor and the beloved city that has always defined them,” Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max, shared in a statement.

Based on Candace Bushnell’s 1997 book of the same name, Sex and the City had its initial run from 1998 to 2004. It received two movie adaptations, including 2008’s Sex and the City and 2010’s Sex and the City 2.
