Ashanti & Keyshia Cole 'Verzuz' Sets A New 'Final' Date

The time has finally arrived! Keyshia Cole and Ashanti will face-off on January 21.
After multiple postponements, Verzuz announced the "final" Verzuz date on social media Tuesday (January 12).
"RAIN, SLEET, HAIL, SNOW LET'S GO ... Join us Thursday, January 21st as we kick off the first #VERZUZ of 2021 with @Ashanti and @KeyshiaCole," a caption on the battle series' Instagram post read alongside the latest Verzuz's flier, which emphasizes the battle's "new and final date."
"Thank you everyone for being patient with us," the caption continued. "We can't wait for this magical night with Keyshia and Ashanti!"
Ashanti and Keyshia's Verzuz battle was originally scheduled to take place on December 12th. However, it was delayed after Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19. The January 9 makeup date was also pushed back due to COVID-19 concerns amid the surging cases of coronavirus across the country.
The "final" Verzuz battle will take place on Thursday (January 21) at 8 p.m. ET on the Verzuz Instagram page.
