YFN Lucci was denied bond Thursday (January 14) after turning himself in to police the previous day.

Lucci, 29, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, is accused of murder following a December 10 shooting. The Atlanta rapper is accused of being involved in an altercation in which one victim, James Adams, 28, died of a gunshot wound to the face and another victim, Kevin Wright, 32, went to a nearby fire station with a non-fatal gunshot wound in his abdomen. Investigators believed the separate shootings were linked to one another.

Police also arrested Ra’von Boyd, 23, and Leroy Pitts, 17.

"The presumption of innocence is a fundamental constitutional right for every citizen. Beyond this, we have no further comment at this time,” Thomas Reynolds, Lucci’s attorney, said in a statement to CNN after his client turned himself in to police.

Lucci is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity and other charges.
