Matty Healy's got jokes.

The 1975 frontman took to social media on Wednesday (January 20) to plug the band's merchandise in the best way ever.

The singer stumbled upon an image of a supposed bank robber from Argentina who was sporting a familiar shirt while attempting to steal money. As you'll see below, even though the image is blurry, you can make out that the man is wearing a The 1975 shirt — and the memes just write themselves.

“This guy just robbed a bank in South America!! SHOP THE LOOK @ the1975.com/merch,” Healy wrote on Instagram. As fans know, the band has a hit song on its debut album called “Robbers” leading fans to post their best reactions that we cannot get enough of.

“The robbers video looks different here,” one fan commented and another wrote, “*watches the robbers music video once.*” Many fans also had the same thought: “Took Robbers too literally I see,” and others wasted no time quoting lyrics from the track as well.

Healy recently revealed that he's decided to use his social media to shed light on social justice issues as well as other serious issues and has been giving fans updates on the new The 1975 record, which will follow 2020's Notes On A Conditional Form.

Last week, the UK band announced its world tour would be canceled but had also revealed the band's fifth full-length album is underway. While no release date or any other information has been announced, Healy has shared a handful of photos from the studio on social media.
