Here's Bernie Sanders At Iconic Music Venues, Thanks To His 'Sitting' Meme

January 21, 2021

Like the rest of us music lovers, Senator Bernie Sanders can't wait for live music to return. After watching Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks perform at President Joe Biden's and Vice-President Kamala Harris's inauguration on Wednesday (January 20), it's safe to assume, his anticipation for the return of live music is at an all-time high; some might even say, he's already first in line for the opening of our most iconic music venues.

With the help of some Internet magic (more specifically the brand-new "Bernie-sits" website), we've placed Bernie's now-viral "sitting photo" from Wednesday's Inauguration — the Vermont Senator once again became the star of a viral meme after he was snapped looking all too comfortable in his sensible inauguration outfit: a thermal coat, and knitted mittens— at a few iconic music venues.

Keep scrolling to see where we placed the one-and-only Bernie Sanders.
