It turns out Leonardo Dicaprio is a big fan of Titanic, too. According to celebrity interior designer Megan Weaver, the actor's Malibu beach house used to be decorated with memorabilia from the classic film.

For those who don't know, the 1997 blockbuster movie helped launch Dicaprio—who was just 23-years-old at the time—into superstardom. While Dicaprio has gone on to star in a number of critically acclaimed films over the years, Titanic remains one of his most iconic roles. As Weaver tells it, it seems like he might be sentimentally attached to the film, as well.

During a recent appearance on the "Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast, she recalled of her experience working for the Academy Award-winning actor back in the '90s, “When I was working for Leo…his mom let me, his mom was so sweet. Irmelin… let me stay at his beach house in Malibu for a weekend." She added, "I was dating somebody who was living in Canada, having a long-distance relationship, and he came to town and they let me have the beach house and I didn’t tell him where we were going."

“And we walked in and you walk into this beach house and everything was TitanicTitanic towels, Titanic poster, Titanic, you know, everywhere," she continued. "And so he did look at me and he was like, is this Leo‘s house? Yes. That’s Leo‘s house. So that was, that was pretty amazing.”

Weaver says she doesn't "think that’s something he would do now" that he's a more established actor. "I think the film wasn’t even…that old. And so, yeah. And it was also not his main house," she explained. "It was, you know, and he hardly went there. So I think they, it was probably his mom who did it, but it was a dead giveaway.”

The interior designer said that, despite showing off items from his own movie, "everything was very tasteful." There was even a "poster of Leo," which Weaver described as "pretty fun.”

In addition to all the Titanic memorabilia, Weaver said Dicaprio's beach house had the "best bed I’ve ever slept in, in my life."
