Luke Combs And Jameson Rodgers Drop 'Cold Beer Calling My Name' Music Video

Luke Combs and Jameson Rodgers sure know how to have a good time! On Tuesday (February 9), the country singers premiered their fun new music video for their recent collaboration, "Cold Beer Calling My Name."

The clip, directed by Dustin Haney, finds Combs and Rodgers as beer delivery drives who can't wait for the workday to be over. The two hit the road to make their delivery rounds for the day and as their shift nears the end, they get a call from a friend and fellow country singer, Drew Parker, who invites them over for a bonfire and asks them to bring along some beer.

"I was wondering if you might could hurry up and bring a sixer with you," Parker says to Rodgers, who replies, "Ha, I think I can handle that."

The video then transitions to the party where Rodgers and Combs can be seen having a good ole time. Alongside their friends out by the bonfire, the two finally get to crack open the beer they've been waiting for all day.

"There's a cold beer calling my name / Feel a good time coming, got a new song humming / And the sunset's doing its thing / Feeling lucky as a seven, yeah, sometimes Heaven / Is a pocket full of payday green / And my baby putting sugar on me / Yeah, it's sure been a pretty damn good day / And there's a cold beer calling my name, yeah," the two sing on the chorus.

"Cold Beer Calling My Name," co-written by Rodgers alongside Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym, was released as his first single to country radio in November of 2020.

"It’s a fun, easy song, and I thought it’d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Luke Combs," Rodgers previously said of the track. "I asked Luke if he’d like to sing on it. I know he’s a cold beer drinker like myself ­and luckily it worked out."
