This Classic Bakery Is Being Hailed As Having The Best Doughnuts In Arizona

Doughnuts are a delicious temptation that you just can't get enough of, and there are plenty of places to get the classic treat. Some places are better than others.

One quaint, legendary Mexican bakery is being hailed as having the best doughnuts in all of Arizona.

La Estrella Bakery in Tucson was included in Food and Wine Magazine's "The Best Doughnuts in Every State" list.

The classic bakery has been serving the state since 1986 and boasts iconic "giant-sized flour tortillas, some of the best pan dulce in the state, killer tamales, and—last but definitely not least—the city's finest classic doughnuts, glazed or sugar-dusted to get you started."

This family-owned business has two locations. The first, original location is for the serious shoppers that flock to the bakery on weekends. The newer location is located in the courtyard of the beautiful Mercado San Augustin.

La Estrella's website says that the bakery has dedicated its craft to baking bread fresh every single day for the community that it loves. It states, "We love to educate our community, and we do so with tours for schools where we talk about Mexican culture, values, and heritage through Mexican pastries. We don't change ingredients."
