A Valley Veteran said that he was made fun of at a local Chick-Fil-A, reported AZ Family. The man said that the worker printed an offensive phrase on his receipt pertaining to his weight.

The Maricopa veteran, David Allen, said that his order name on the receipt from a Chick-Fil-A in Goodyear was labeled as "2BIGGIE."

Allen said the words were very hurtful since he has been trying to lose weight. "It's been hard; it's been really hard. And to be slapped in the face like this? I served this country just to come home and be treated like this; just disgusting to me," he said.

Allen said that after years of trying, he is finally turning a corner for weight loss. His struggle was sidelined for a long time due to mental and physical issues from his experiences overseas.

Allen explained that the Chick-Fil-A order that he was picking up wasn't even for him, but for his wife, Olymphia.

Olymphia commented, "I couldn't believe that they would write something like that so publicly and to be just so disrespectful." When she confronted the manager, the manger said that the cashier thought the name was 'BIGGIE' and the number '2' was for the lane that they were in.

Olymphia said that the cashier said his name back to him three different times, ensuring there was no miscommunication. She said, "The miscommunication came into play because she didn't think we would receive that receipt."

The owner of the Chick-Fil-A said that the customer's experience was not acceptable and that he would meet with the couple, but he hasn't yet.

Allen said he is using the comment as motivation for meeting his goal for a healthier life.
