Police have arrested two suspects accused of shooting a woman at an AMC Movie Theatre last month.
Their motive?
The victim shushed them.
Officers were called to a nearby Walgreens shortly after 9 p.m. on January 9, meeting the victim, 22-year-old Rickell Etheridge.
The Atlanta Police Department says Etheridge “and her wife were in a nearby movie theater watching a movie. A group sitting behind the victim was being disruptive and Ms. Etheridge told them to be quiet. Shortly after that a gunshot was heard inside the theater.”
Etheridge suffered a gunshot wound in her shoulder. She left the theater, called 911 and was transported to a hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Investigators tracked down the suspects: Camryn King, 20, and Yvonne Crawford, 22. Atlanta authorities and U.S. Marshals teamed up to arrest the pair in Indianapolis, Indiana.

They were charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
The agency said King has a criminal history that includes theft and drug possession. Crawford has no prior criminal history.
King and Crawford will be extradited to Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted that the AMC Movie Theatre shooting was the first of two in that shopping center in January. The second happened weeks later, on January 30. The teenaged victims survived their injuries.
“This is outstanding work by all of the Atlanta police detectives who worked this case,” Officer Anthony Grant said in an emailed statement to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We extend a sincere thank you to the U.S. Marshals team for their assistance.”
