Everything You Need To Know About Water Park Reopenings Across Arizona

Many across the state never got the chance to live out their water park dreams last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, that is all about to change as Arizona water parks are preparing for reopening, reported ABC 15.
The parks will be reopening with COVID-19 protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees.
Here is everything you need to know about the parks reopening across Arizona:
Six Flags
Six Flags in Phoenix announced that it will be reopening on March 13th and will be open on weekends in March, April, and May. It will begin opening daily on May 31st. The park will be open for Spring Break as well, which is March 13-21. Tickets will be available online, and concession stands will not be accepting cash. There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the park as well as social distancing markers.
Golfland Sunsplash
Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa will be open for Spring Break, which is March 6-14, along with the rest of the weekends in March, April, and May. The park will begin opening daily on June 1st. Tickets must be bought on the website. There will be a reduced capacity, a face make requirement, and hand sanitizer stations throughout the park.

Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale has remained open throughout the pandemic. The park requires facial coverings and has increased cleaning procedures. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the complex. In order to visit this water park, you must be a guest staying at the resort.
Oasis- Arizona Grand Resort & Spa
Oasis opened in February and is currently open Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to the website, the lazy river is closed on Thursdays.
The following water parks either will not be opening this year, or have not announced a reopening date:
- Big Surf Waterpark
- Salt River Tubing
