FKA Twigs Says Shia LaBeouf Would Shoot Stray Dogs To Prep For Acting Roles

It's been two months since FKA twigs filed a civil lawsuit against Shia LaBeouf, accusing the actor of sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress, but it appears as if we’ve only heard a portion of her story.

In her new cover story for Elle, the singer shared more details about living with the actor. As per the entertainer, LaBeouf confessed to her that he would shoot stray dogs to prepare for acting roles. "I said to him, 'That’s really bad. Why are you doing that?'" twigs recalled during the extensive interview. "And he was like, 'Because I take my art seriously. You're not supporting me in my art. This is what I do.'"

LaBeouf went on to insult the entertainer for not understanding "method" acting and pushed back on her own craft. “It’s different from singing. I don’t just get up on a stage and do a few moves," she recalled him saying.

The devastating trauma from the relationship is something that twigs said she has had an extremely hard time overcoming. "What I went through with my abuser is, hands down, the worst thing [I’ve experienced] in the whole of my life," she admitted to the magazine. "Recovering has been the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to do.”

As for LaBeouf, the actor reportedly entered a rehab facility a month ago and pushed back on the allegations of assault, sexual battery and infliction of emotional distress during their relationship. According to PEOPLE, LaBeouf's lawyers insisted that he "denies, generally and specifically, each and every allegation contained in [Barnett]’s Complaint, denies that [Barnett] has sustained any injury or loss by reason of any act or omission on the part of [LaBeouf], and denies that [Barnett] is entitled to any relief or damages whatsoever."

Additionally, LaBeouf's lawyers denied her claim that she suffered injuries because of their romance and argued that her allegations of sexual battery can be dismissed because "none of the acts alleged were based on sex and/or the conduct was not sexual."
