The soon-to-release movie sequel starring Eddie Murphy, Coming 2 America, will include some if its scenes filmed in an Atlanta rapper’s home.
In fact, the home is a “massive 235-acre Georgia estate,” nearly reaching 50,000 square feet and ranked as the biggest single-family home in the state, the New York Post reported on Tuesday afternoon (March 2). It’s a 12-bedroom, 21-bathroom home that’s filled with amenities and has been featured on Drop Dead Diva and other TV shows.
Rick Ross, 45, opened his home up to filming for Coming 2 America. He unveiled that detail in 2019 in an interview with Nick Cannon, adding on Instagram Live that he charged producers to visit, according to the Post.
“The reason why I’m believing in it so much is because they are filming at my estate in Atlanta,” Ross told Cannon. “It’s going to be dope.”
The sequel’s cast also includes James Earl Jones, Arsenio Hall, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan and many more big-name performers.
“The African monarch Akeem learns he has a long-lost son in the United States and must return to America to meet this unexpected heir and build a relationship with his son,” the film’s synopsis reads.
It’s slated to release Friday (March 5).
