Man Allegedly Killed Wife, Left Body In Living Room For Christmas
March 11, 2021
Prosecutors in California say a man killed his wife and then placed her body on a sofa while his children opened Christmas presents. William Wallace is accused of killing his wife, Za'Zell Preston, on Christmas Eve in 2011. More details have emerged as his trial for first-degree murder finally gets underway. Wallace is said to have propped up her dead body on a couch, put sunglasses on, and told his kids she was drunk as they open their gifts. Someone eventually called 911, with responders finding her body, blood throughout the apartment and holes in the walls. If convicted, Wallace could face up to 25 years to life in prison.
A senior deputy district attorney in OC said William Wallace, of Anaheim, dragged his wife's body from the bedroom to the living room couch, placed sunglasses on her and told the children: “Mommy ruined Christmas, she got drunk and ruined Christmas.” https://t.co/PRSFPT693K
