New Report Shows Many Coloradans Can't Spell Colorado

A new report from Google Trends revealed that many Coloradans need some help spelling the name of their own state.
On June 10, Google Trends released a map showing America's Top Spelling Searches which includes searches starting with "How do you spell..."
For Coloradans, the top spelling search was for the word "Colorado."
The other states weren't searching proper nouns like Colorado. However, many states are unclear on the spelling of "beautiful."
Here are the top spelling searches for each state:
- Washington: Because
- Oregon: Beautiful
- California: Beautiful
- Nevada: Beautiful
- Idaho: Nemesis
- Utah: Assist
- Arizona: Friend
- New Mexico: Hungry
- Alaska: Explicitly
- Hawaii: Bagel
- Montana: Recommend
- Wyoming: Substitute
- Texas: Because
- Oklahoma: Betrayal
- Kansas: Prescription
- Nebraska: Miscellaneous
- South Dakota: Equal
- North Dakota: Beautiful
- Minnesota: Celebrate
- Iowa: Dessert
- Missouri: Fertilizer
- Arkansas: Multiply
- Louisiana: Different
- Mississippi: Resources
- Tennessee: Gray
